Volunteers make it happen! Volunteers help us reach girls and the community.

We have many opportunities for you to get involved. Most of our volunteers are women, but men also volunteer. We want our girls to know that men care about their lives, too!

Volunteering is an enriching experience in so many ways. When you become part of our team, you have an opportunity to support a cause you truly believe in, apply your current skills and gain some new ones, meet new people, make new friends and develop professional contacts. Feel the personal satisfaction of helping others and make a difference in your own community and in the life of a child. The rewards are as unique and personal as your reasons for wanting to volunteer.

Would you like to volunteer?

• We need volunteers to read aloud to girls.


• We need guest speakers – especially women in interesting careers.


• We need homework helpers at every level – from spelling help for a six-year-old to multiplication flash cards with an eight-year-old to assistance with honors physics for our teens.


• We need women to be mentors for our teens.


• We need assistance with special events.


• We need computer lab monitors.


• We need extra grown ups to help chaperone field trips.
