Women of Vision LuncheonThursday, June 12, 2008 Check out this "eye-opening" luncheon. Silent auction features eyeglasses, sunglasses, accessories and other vision-related items like LASIK surgery and yearly checkups. Other accessories like jewelry and scarves, too. Local and national celebs even donate items. Jana Pettey, publisher and editorial director of Justine magazine, makes presentation. "There hasn't been a magazine for teen girls that's entertaining and stylish and wholesome all at the same time until now" (Chicago Sun Times). All proceeds benefit Girls Inc. where girls are "inspired to be Strong, Smart and Bold in a safe and educational environment."
